Cyndi Rottenberg-Walker

From campus and community master plans through to development approvals and comprehensive policy studies, Cyndi has made an impact in her career leadin large teams committed to effecting positive change in urban and urbanizing settings at all scales. Known for her skill in motivating diverse groups toward a common purpose, Cyndi understands what it takes to create healthy and enduring urban environments that effectively synthesize public and private interests. Key projects include Campus Master Plans for both Princeton University and Cornell University; transformation of the former Christie Cookie factory in Humber Bay Shores into a mixed use community designed around transit and a full range of jobs, services and amenities; and Tewin, a new 15-minute live-work community in south-east Ottawa founded on Algonquin design principles and endorsed within the One Planet Living framework. Cyndi retired in 2026.
