
Harshitha Damodaran
Harshitha is an Urban Designer with a comprehensive background in Architecture and Planning. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning, with a research focus on urban form resilience and nature-based solutions. In her years of experience, Harshitha has contributed to several large-scale and master planning projects for both public and private sector clients in Canada and India. Her portfolio encompasses residential, mixed-use, and transit-oriented developements, neighbourhood master plans, as well as urban renewal and brownfield regeneration projects.
At Urban Strategies, she is actively involved in the development approvals, zoning analysis, and the preparation of urban design guidelines for several significant projects in the Greater Toronto Area, including the master plan and redevelopment of Scarborough Town Centre, the master plan for the Taxiway West District at the Downsview Airport lands, Urban Design Guidelines for University of Toronto, the redevelopment of Ontario Place, and the rezoning of 155 St Dennis Dr, rezoning of 25 Borough Drive, and 300 Borough Drive (Block 2).
