Mona Han

Mona is a Senior Associate Urban Designer with broad experience in master planning, transit-oriented development, large-scale community design, public realm planning, and landscape design. She has worked on projects across British Columbia, Toronto, Australia, New Zealand, China, and the Middle East, serving both public and private sector clients.

At Urban Strategies, Mona has contributed to major master planning initiatives, including the Downsview West District Plan in Toronto—a 30-hectare site expected to welcome 17,000 residents and 3,300 jobs, and the Vancouver Community College Broadway Campus Development Plan, which supports academic renewal, housing, and community wellbeing. She also worked on the Nanyang Technological University Campus Plan in Singapore, helping shape short and long-term development strategies.

Her work on 3200 East Broadway in Vancouver involved close collaboration with First Nations cultural liaisons to create a culturally grounded, transit-oriented mixed-use community.

Mona is based in Urban Strategies’ Vancouver office, where she continues to lead and support impactful projects across Canada and internationally.
