
Taylor MacDonald-Plummer
Taylor is an Urban Planner with an interdisciplinary background in rural planning, research, and urban design. She holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and a Master of Urban Design from the University of Westminster (England). Taylor has experience working in both the private and public sectors, as well as in urban and rural settings. Her experience includes revising site plan applications for a variety of developments in Burlington, and agri-tourism developments in Northumberland County. Her academic research focused on social aspects of planning and design, exploring the stigma of poverty in small towns, and the effectiveness of the engagement strategy for Regent Park’s redevelopment. At Urban Strategies, Taylor is working on a variety of projects, including the approvals strategy for the 2.8ha mixed-use Quayside waterfront redevelopment and Kitchener’s Official Plan engagement strategy.
