Scrivener Square

Toront, Ontario 2016 - Present

The site of a previous application for a tall building that was refused by the City, Urban Strategies worked with the consultant team to advance a design strategy that is sympathetic to the neighborhood context and provides new public benefits including a new public park. Urban Strategies prepared the planning and urban design analysis for the site and supported the team in ongoing discussions with the community and City staff. The proposed development features a diversity in building form and articulation, including a mid-rise building element and a 21 storey tall building element with a rich public realm that will complement the heritage context and enhance the quality of this area as a local destination for public life.
