Since we started as a small partnership in 1986, Urban Strategies has played a significant role in the ongoing urban renaissance in North America and the UK, leading groundbreaking studies on downtown living, intensification, and progressive urban regeneration. Today, we continue to build on this legacy as we take on diverse urban challenges.
We strive to connect our work to key issues. We know planning and design have meaningful impacts on critical issues such as equity, climate change, and economic development. We embrace the responsibility that comes with our profession, and are committed to addressing these issues directly through our work. As a firm, we have developed Community Supportive Strategies to help us make a positive impact. These strategies help direct our project work, as well as actions that include hands-on community partnerships, capacity building, industry leadership, as well as financial support for numerous organizations, scholarships and community initiatives.
